On May 26 GSU joined the independence day celebration in Ozurgeti, organized by the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth. University  representatives performed a mock archaeological dig with exhibited  unique artifacts, found in Shida Kartli territory to history lovers and guests. Students also gave one more presentation on antibiotics and its harmful effects on dairy and human health. They showed the audience actual methods of determining traces of antibiotics and research outcomes on dairy products. The presentation aimed to raise awareness on food safety and ecology. Mr. Irakli Kobakhidze, Mr. Irakli Chikovani, Mr.Givi Mikanadze, Mr. Zviad Gabisonia and Mrs. Baia Kvitsiani, local government representatives attended the event.
