On August 6, 2026 a graduation ceremony was held at GSU. The event was opened by Mr. Aleksandre Mghebrishvili. He reviewed and assessed the 2025-2026 academic year, pointed out this year’s academic and scientific achievements, Mr. Rector accentuated students role in university life, expressed his gratitude for their eagerness, work and effort on behalf of the university and wished them a successful and fulfilling life. Mr. Mikanadze, Mr. Giorgi Sosiashvili, Mr. Zviad Gabisonia, Mr. Simon Guledani, Mr. Konstantine Buzaladze, Mr. Marlen Nadiaradze, Mrs. Lela Aleksidze, Mrs. Ketevan Barbakadze, Mrs. Marika Sherazadishvili also gave speeches and congratulated students. Mr. Davit Giorgadze, Decon Ghvtiso (Sekhniashvili), GSU academic and administrative staff, students, family members and invited guests attended the ceremony. Certificates of Appreciation were given to students who participated in calligraphy exhibitions, special certificates were given to honor graduates. Jazz band “Kanudos”,  cellist Dea Kheoshvili and students: Natali Grigalashvili, Vladimer Totladze and Mariam Makrakhidze performed at the event.
