On March 18, 2014 Saint Andrew the First-Called Georgian University of the Patriarchate of Georgia hosted a meeting with the Rector of Gori State Teaching University-Professor Giorgi Sosiashvili. The meeting was conducted by the Rector of Georgian University, Prof. Sergo Vardosanidze, who reviewed the main moments of his life and creative work.

 During the meeting, Gori University Prof. Eldar Mamistvalishvili, Rostom Chkheidze (Writer), Prof. Ioseb Chumburidze and Prof. Tariel Putkaradze talked about his role and merit, as a historian and prose writer. Professor Givi Gambashidze, President of the “Fund of Caucasus” talked about the researches regarding the Georgian - North Caucasian historic relations, carried out by Giorgi Sosiashvili.

Professor Soso Sigua, Revaz Mishveladze (writer) and Nana Davitashvili-Bagrationi- editor of the journal “Qarozi” expressed their opinions about his activities.

At the end of the meeting, Gori University Rector, Giorgi Sosiashvili thanked the audience.
