On August 7, 2010 Gori University Administration representatives, faculty-members and students participated in the action, held in the center of Gori, where almost five thousand candles, with the form of the Georgian map were lit in colors of the Georgian flag.
On August 8, the above-mentioned members participated in the action for Georgia`s integrity and unity - Stop Occupation! At the bottom of Gori Fortress, by the Heroes Memorial, they honored the memory of all those lost in the war and held the live chain of Unity.
