EUEAA Results Dissemination at the Jean Monnet International Conference

On September 29-30, 2023, the Jean Monnet International Conference "Democracy, Rule of Law and Protection of Human Rights in the European Union" took plase at the Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University. The conference was organized within the framework of the Jean Monnet Chair project "Fundamental Values of the European Union: Democracy, Rule of Law and Protection of Human Rights".

The conference was a summary of the activities carried out within the framework of the Jean Monnet Chair at Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University in 2020-2023, and its goal is to share experience, promote young scholars, internationalization of the university and development of the European studies. About 100 Georgian and foreign professors, PhD students, other students, representatives of Jean Monnet chairs, modules, leading Jean Monnet Centres of Excellence from 19 countries of the world (Georgia, Germany, Romania, Hungary, China, Great Britain, Poland, Ukraine, North Macedonia, Croatia, Moldova, Turkey, Lithuania, Israel, Portugal, Thailand, Uzbekistan, Pakistan) participated in the event.
Professor Ekaterine Kardava, Coordinator of the Jean Monnet Module “EUEAA” was a key speaker at the conference and she introduced results and outcomes of the JM module implemented at the Gori State University during 2020-2023.
