On 8 June 2026, within the framework of the Jean Monnet Chair “EU Social Justice”, Gori State University hosted an official visit by Monika Tomaszewska, Full Professor and Head of the Department of Labour Law at University of Gdańsk.
The public lecture addressed the subject of European Union social policy and, more specifically, European Union labour law. The event attracted a large and diverse audience comprising academic staff, administrative personnel, and students. The level of engagement was notably high, as reflected in the thoughtful, analytical, and substantive questions raised during the discussion.
Professor Tomaszewska, in her capacity as a member of the Jean Monnet Chair team, prepared the lecture syllabus and accompanying academic presentations (see attached files).
