On June 16/17 a training week for the purpose of capacity building and raising awareness took place at GSU. The course was divided into four modules. Informative meetings were led by the head of Professional center, Mr. David Chochishvili.

June 16

Module 1: fundamentals of Children’s rights. Topics: the first historical-legal acts and organizations of safeguarding children’s rights. Fundamental principles of UN Convention and General Children’s Rights. Trainer: Mr. Giorgi Mghebrishvili

Modul 2:

Labor safety, emergency management, fire safety, legal norms and principles of labor safety, fire safety management in offices, regulation mechanisms of crises and emergencies. Trainers: Mrs. Mariam Arkhoshashvili and Mr. Zakaria Dotiashvili.

Modul 3

Children’s rights (part III), national and international contacts/ legislature of the children's rights sphere. Modern legal protection mechanisms and practical application. Trainer: Giorgi Mghebrishvili.

Modul 4

First-aid in emergency situations, theoretical basics and practical skills, necessary for avoiding traumas and health deterioration. Trainer: Lali Bejanishvili.

Participants were actively involved in the discussions and were given thorough answers concerning every topic of the two-day training.
