The final day of the symposium

On April 28 and 29, the symposium for young Georgian and Turkish historians took place at GSU. The final day of the symposium, Mr. Giorgi Sosiashvili summarized the activities and work of the students as Mr. Ibrahim Tellioghlu thanked participants and organizers for their hard work. Such symposiums enable people to share experiences, thoughts and establish long and fruitful scientific collaborations. Special certificates were given at the end of the event to all participants. Mr. Giorgi Sosiashvili informed the audience on the decision, made by the university council- Mr. Ibrahim Tellioghlu was given the title of honorary doctor of the university for his indelible contribution to strengthen Georgian-Turkish Relationship. Participants visited the final resting place of late Mr. Ioseb Alibarashvili and remembered his life’s work and dedication to the university and to science.
