For the first time in University history, On December 24-26, the 3rd international conference will be held at GSTU, financed by Turkish Historical Society where local history teachers will have a chance to participate. Concerning the matter, an official delegation from Samsun university visited GSTU on January 25. Ibrahim Telioghlu and Roin Kavrelishvili,- professor of Ardahan University and a coordinator of the conference met with Giorgi Sosiashvili. The third international conference was planed on November 23-24, 2017, in Trabzon, The second international scientific symposium, where Mr. Giorgi Sosiashvili participated. During the symposium , Mr. Sosiashvili held a meeting with the chairman of the historical society, Prof. Refic Turan and prof. Hikmet Okruz,- vice president of Black Sea Technical University. Both parties agreed on the place and date of next international scientific conference. GSTU will be the host of the upcoming event. Eldar Mamistvalashvili, Otar Janelidze,Ioseb Alimbarashvili also attended the meeting. They agreed that, the conference will take place on 22-24 of October, 2018, on October 25, there will be an excursion for guests, and on October 26, students’concert will take place. At the end of the conference, participant teachers will be given certificates from both sides.
