October 16-22 the whole  World ccelebrates the 23rd week of the Italian Language, supported by the President of Italy. The aim of the celebratory week is to popularize Italian language and culture around the globe. GSTU eagerly participates in the activities and hosts a visit of the Ambassador H.E Enriko Valvo.  The meeting was opened by Mr. Aleksandre Mghebrishvili who expressed gratitude and appreciation on behalf of the university. The Ambassador pointed out the perspectives of strengthening Georgian-Italian Relations, GSTU’s efficient involvement in relations with  higher education institutions of Italy. Other speakers: Mr. Giorgi Khorbaladze, Mrs. Maia Jijava, Mrs. Tinatin Iosebidze. Guests visited  Keti Mindiashvili’ exhibition. Principal of Gori public school N8, Mrs. Nana Edisherashvili presented a project on environment protection. The project was supported by GSTU. Band “ Gori”, choirmaster Giorgi Sadzaglishvili and singer Davit Darbaidze performed at the meeting.
