On december 9, 2021 GSTU organized the 14th international scientific conference “ Education, Science, Innovations: the World and Georgia Within” through zoom planform. The conference was opened by Mr. Giorgi Sosiashvili, who outlined the significance of the conference and thanked the ministry of Education and Science for providing all the needed support in realization of strategically important projects of GSTU and strassed out the significance of the process of institutional internalization , particularly Georgian and foreign higher educational institutions’ involvement in such conferences and thanked them for their efforts. The head of the department of higher education and science development, Mrs. Nino Tsereteli attended the conference and ensured support from the ministry on the implementation of strategically important scientific, research and learning projects, including the new framework of research and innovation “ Horizon Europe”, EU, associate agreement and new forms of financing higher education.

Mr. Giorgi Sharvashidze, Mr. Zurab Khonelidze, Mr. Gocha Javakhishvili, Mr. Roland Kopaliani, Mr. Ibrahim Tellioghlu, Mrs. Irma Shioshvili, Mrs. Maka Beridze, Mr. Pavel Libera, Mr. Roin Kavrelishvili, Mr. Roman Shmietanski and Mr. Levij Karchevski were speakers at the conference. Participant parties were: academic staff and scientists of higher institutions and research centers of Georgia, Turkey, Italy, Hungary, the Czech republic, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan and Poland. 7 sessions took place where theses from history, philology, social sciences, law, economy, education, exact and natural sciences and information technologies presented.
