
the 13th international scientific conference, dedicated to 85 jubilee

On December 16, 2020, GSTU organized the 13th international scientific conference, dedicated to 85 jubilee “Innovative development of education and science: directions, challenges and perspectives of achievement”, it took place through the zoom platform. Participants were welcomed by the rector of the university, prof. Giorgi Sosiashvili. In his speech he gave a brief history of the university, expressed his gratitude towards the ministry for supporting implementation of strategic projects, crucial for development and improvement of education. He pinpointed the role of internationalization and unification of educational institutions and thanked them for participation.
Deputy Minister Mrs. Nunu Mickiewicz attended the conference among other respected guests, in her speech she hoped that the university will implement a three stage system in the near future by adding doctorates academic programs, she also ensured the ministry’s support in execution of various strategically important scientific, studying and research projects.
Other persons who congratulated on the jubilee were: Mayor Konstantine Tavzarashvili, Prof. Yavuz Unal, prof. Giorgi Sarvashidze, prof. Musa Gasimli, acad. Roin Metreveli, prof. Participant academic personnel were from Georgian, Turkish, Italian, Hungarian, Polish higher educational institutions and research centers. 5 sessions were held where participants presented their works in history, philology, social sciences, law, economics, education, exact and natural sciences and IT.
Papers will be published in a collection of scientific work, at Gori university publishing house.
