On November 15, 2019 the 12th annual international scientific conference” Innovative development of Education and science: Problems, challenges, perspectives” took place at GSTU. It was opened by the rector of the university Mr. Giorgi Sosiashvili, in his opening speech, he thanked participants and gave detailed updates about university’s planes and innovations. Mr. Zurab Khonelidze, Mr. Giorgi Khorbaladze, Mr. Aleksandre Mghebrishvili, Mr. Ioseb Alimbarashvili, Mr. Levan Midodashvili, Mr. Eduard Raup, Mrs. Sopio Makhachashvili also gave speeches at the beginning of the conference. Mr. Eldar Mamistvalishvili presented a thesis on the king Rostom and his quest for heirs. After plenary meeting, work was continued in sections of education, natural sciences, business and economics, social sciences, law, philology, history etc. up to 130 theses were presented at the conference from:
