On April 15, 2016 student days 2016 was opened with “Etaloni” ,- competition show and it was opened by rector of the university prof. Giorgi Sosiashvili and Gocha Tkeshelashvili ,- creator and a host of the program. Mr. Tkeshelashvili talked about show’s goals and future plans and invited students to participate in the final round of 2016 championship , which will take place at Tbilisi sports palace. Excellent students from three faculties participated in the show, they performed and held a good , competitive fight for the winner’s title. Valeri Khutsishvili, Student from the faculty of social sciences , business and jurisprudence won the compatiton.
Students, teachers and academics from TSU, ILIAUNI, Samtskhe-Javakheti State University , GSTU, Sukhishvili Teaching University attended the event. Mr. Tkeshelashvili has couple of initiatives which involves close partnership between the university and the show as well as student’s active participation in various projects.
