On April 30 and on May 1, Niko Berdzenishvili  Research Center, Batumi State University, organized the tenth international scientific conference " Batumi with its past and present". The conference was dedicated to  history, archeology ,ethnography , folklore, art , architecture, tourism, ecology, economy and demography of Batumi. after plenary meeting, Mr. Giorgi Khorbaladze gave greeting speech to participants. Mrs. Maia Azmaiparashvili and Giuli Giguashvili also attended the conference. Mr. Giorgi Khorbaladze presented his work on Zurab Gorgiladze' s work and characteristics of his work. Mrs. Maia Azmaiparashvili presented her work on Sustainable development and basic priorities of national aims in Batumi. Mrs. Giuli Giguashvili gave a speech on  Innovative technology , its aspects and usage in hotels of Batumi. Representatives of GSTU were active participants in cultural events of the conference. At the end of the conference, participants were given special certificates.
