Science Festival

On September 26, 2024, GSU hosted a Science Festival “ Young Scientists for Better Future”, the festival is supported by the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth and aims to raise awareness and involvement in scientific events, research and innovative activities among students and young population.

The first day of the festival was opened by the rector of the university, Mr. Aleksandre Mghebrishvili, who welcomed participants and reviewed the importance of such events, especially in regions. Mr. Giorgi Sosiashvili, Mrs. Ketevan Kokrashvili, Mrs. Nino Imnadze, Mrs. Luisa Gabunia, Mrs. Tamila Koshoridze, Mrs. Khatia Baindurashvili, Mr. Giorgi Berdzenishvili, Mr. Davit Kvernadze also spoke before the festival started.

At the end of the festival, GSU students were given certificates of appreciation for their involvement in Anaklia and Bakuriani Summer Camps.

The first day of the festival:

GSU presented a simulated archeology dig, Horizon Europe gave various play activities to school students and awarded winners with symbolic gifts.

Sergi Makalatia Gori Historical and Ethnographic Museum – coin molding on special parchment paper and generate old documents

Kaspi Technopark- 3D printer was presented and showed how the printer constructed various objects.

Medical University, Pharmacochemistry Institute taught students how to study the chemical and biological nature of active substances, how to make new medicine and how to give a person first aid.

Technical University- location of Natural Sciences, Robot techniques, visitors were given a tour on modern research achievements of new technologies.
