On December 30, 2014 Gori State Teaching University Rector Professor Giorgi Sosiashvili held his Report 2010-2014 at Gori State Teaching University.
The Meeting was attended by the Head of Higher Education Development Division at the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, Mr. Nugzar Chitaia, Metropolitan of Gori and Ateni Andrew (Andria) (Gvazava), government officials, public figures, invited guests, university students, academic and administrative staff.
At the meeting Mr. Giorgi Sosiashvili reviewed the reforms, innovations and events carried out in 2010-2014 at Gori University and congratulated the audience successful completion of the accreditation and authorization process of Gori State Teaching University.
The report focused on the following priorities: program changes, student funding system, scholarships, grants and incentives system for professors, research, infrastructure and rehabilitation, Memorandums of Understanding, international projects and programs, culture, sport, etc.
At the end, Professor Giorgi Sosiashvili thanked the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia for their support for the rehabilitation of the University, congratulated the audience on the upcoming Christmas and New Year and wished them success.
