On February 13, 2020, rector of the Sokhumi State University Prof. Zurab Khonelidze visited GSTU and gave a lecture on University diplomacy and tactics. Prof. Giorgi Sosiashvili, rector of GSTU, opened the event. Prof. Zurab Khonelidze accentuated matters of peaceful education for regulating conflict and characteristics of University diplomacy. He claimed that, wide ranged diplomatic relationship between universities creates healthy environment among universities all over the world. Students and teachers of GSTU attended the meeting. A discussion took place at the end of the event.
