Tamar liparteliani,- NAEC representative visited Gori State Teaching University, she introduced the new project-‘’students for self- governing“’ to students. Project is initiated by the organization „’Citizen’’ and is fulfilled by NAEC. Objectives of the project are as follows: To involve students in the evolving process of development of civil society, In the field of democracy to strengthen democratic culture of the society in a long term process, To increase knowledge on self-governance, To create and improve general understanding and acceptance for students' involvement in university processes by students. To create mechanisms and strengthen capacity of students to organize themselves in student boards and upgrade their impact on society at large. To achieve the goals, students should examine needs of municipality and create projects on development of local municipality . Nino Merebishvili and Ana Tsaishvili , project winners, shared their experiences with the audience at the meeting.
