
New Resource center was opened in GSTU
17 May,2017On May 16,2017 within the framework of 544191 Tempus 1-2013-1-PT JPCR (LMPH) a new Resource Center was opened in GSTU. The Project LMPH aims to develop Tourism and Hotel industry in Georgia. 33 partner organizations, 16 universities (2 universities among them are from Georgia). The center is thoroughly equipped with 11 computers, printer, interacive blackboard with projector, risograph, books and programme software for frontoffice management. Within the framework of the project master and bachelor's programs in „Hotel Management“ were accredited ( supervisors: prof. Tsiuri Duruli and prof. Nana Akhalaia); activating double diploma with Girona University will be fulfilled, involvement in Erasmus+ and 5 year memorandum is signed; certificate programs were prepared and activated and graduates will receive certificates with signature of three project partners (Grenoble Academy, Espinho Institute and GSTU); study materials was prepared: readers and textbook were composed: „Financial Analyses and Hotel Revenue Management“ (authors: Tea Khorguashvili and Khaliana Chitadze), „Georgia – the bridge between Europe and Asia: Aspects of Tourism Development in Historical Viewpoint“ (author: prof. Giorgi Sosiashvili) and a textbook “Research Methods in Tourism and Hotel Business“(author: prof. Ruisan Mekvabidze). Software for Front office management is ordered
