Joint project of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth with GSTU

Joint project of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth with GSTU “Archeology with young generation near occupied territory”, fulfilled by GSTU students with their supervisors in Kvemo Nikozi, entered into the final phase. December 07 participants presented the report of the archeological dig.

Project supervisor Mr. Giorgi Sosiashvili expressed gratitude on behalf of the University towards the ministry, Mrs. Tea Tsulukiani for providing moral and financial support.

Giorgi Sosiashvili reviewed details of ongoing projects, findings, significance and pressing nature of such activities, and raised international awareness of the discovery. He, also, underlined its implications and influence on students. “ and this is only the beginning of the long journey” stated Mr. Giorgi Sosiashvili.

Researcher Mr. Ioseb Alimbarashvili reported increasing interest among communities on the project, and explained significance of the findings in his professional opinion. Student Sopiko Sekhniashvili thanked Mr. Sosiashvili for the opportunity and acknowledged the importance of such projects in students’ motivation and skill improvement context.

Mr. Giorgi Sosiashvili answered thoroughly to all questions at the end of the meeting.
