international scientific symposium

December 2-4, 2019 an international scientific symposium " Georgian Turkish Relations" was held in Ankara, Turkey. Among other Georgian Universities (Batumi, Akhaltsikhe, Sokhumi) representatives of Gori State Teaching University: Ioseb Alimbarashvili, Eldar Mamistvalishvili and Otar Janelidze participated in the symposium. The event was supported by Georgian Embassy and  initiated by Turkish Historical Society.Mr. Ambassador Giorgi Janjgava, chairman of the society Mr. Refik Turan, Mr. Ibrahim Telioglu, rectors of Georgian universities gave speeches on the first day of the symposium. Second day , conference was continued in sections. Third day hosts gave a tour to Anatolia Museum, Mustaf Kemal Pasha Museum, Building of First Ball of Turkey and to other historical sightseeing.   Gori scientists gave hosts collections of third international symposium, which had taken place in November, 2018 and later published in Gori University Publishing House. Sokhumi University will be the fifth host of the symposium.
