On November 12, 2015, international scientific conference was held at GSTU. Conference, “Georgian emigrants –reflections from 21st century”, was dedicated to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Giorgi Matchabelli’s birth and 80th anniversary of his death. conference was opened by Giorgi Sosiashvili,-rector of the university, Eldar Mamistvalashvili-Head of Educational Science Center of History and Archaeology gave an opening speech. After plenary meeting, working process was divided in sections where participants were given 22 report by different scientists, professors, participants.
