On November 17,2015 GSTU hosted the international science conference organized by faculty of humanities and Educational-scientific center of history and archaeology. Participants were from 14 different universities and 36 scientists. Plenary meeting was opened by rector of the university ,-prof .Giorgi Sosiashvili , speeches were made by Konstantine Tavzarashvili, Eldar Mamistvalashvili, Giorgi Otkhmezuri, Elene Kavlelashvili, Eter Kavtaradze, Ioseb Alimbarashvili etc. Later work was divided into sections. Previous day , 16th of November, university teachers , students, local government officials had decorated renewed tombstone of Dimitri Meghvinetukhutsesi, HE Andria had conducted the church service.
