On June 13, 2014 The Second International Scientific Conference dedicated to Iakob Gogebashvili was held at Gori State Teaching University.

The conference was launched with the opening remarks, made by the Rector of Gori State Teaching University Prof. Dr. Giorgi Sosiashvili and the Rector of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Academician Vladimer Papava.

At the plenary session the papers were read by the Head of the Educational Research Center of the Georgian Language and Literature, Professor Vianor Akhalaia, Professor of Gori State Teaching University Giorgi Gogolashvili and Professor of Jacob Gogebashvili Telavi State University Roin Chikadze.
