GSTU continues working on preparing a doctorate programme in history to add to university curriculum.

on September 12, 2022, through zoom.us platform, an online meeting was held with potential employers Mrs. Teona Iashvili, head of the national archive, Mr. Michael Tsereteli,- deputy director of National Museum, Mr. Mirian Khositashvili, deputy director of Ilia Chavchavadze National library , head of the archive at Georgian Parliament, department of research Mr: Irakli Iakobashvili, head of the department of publishing - editing, Korneli Kekelidze Center of Manuscript,-Mr. Shalva Gloveli, heads of local museums and organizations: Mrs. Lia Okropiridze, Mr. Robert Maghlakelidze, Mr. Badri Gasparov, Mrs. Tamila Koshoridze, Public school principals : Tamar Samsonashvili, Rusudan Lomidze, Giorgi Berdzenishvili etc.

Mr. Giorgi Sosiashvili welcomed invited guests and audience and addressed numerous issues of the program, including specificities of the program, preparing and implementation processes and its anticipated impact on the region and university.

Other persons participated in the discussion and suggested close collaboration and partnership with the university, they congratulated GSTU on an important new step forward : Robert Maghlakelidze, Teona Iashvili, Mikheil Tsereteli, Mirian Khositashvili
