Gogebashvili, 60-s, and German Culture

On November 24, 2017, within the framework of the year of Georgia-Germany, an event took place at Jacob Gogebashvili Museum, Variani, Gori region. It was organized by National Center of Manuscripts and Faculty of Humanities , GSTU. Subject of the event was Gogebashvili, 60-s and German Culture. Professors in German Language : Lela Makhviladze and Nino Bakradze with students of the faculty were invited to the event. It was opened by Natia Aduashvili, president of the museum, Mrs. Nestan Bagauri, an employee of the museum suggested exchanging the views on German Culture, Germany as a nation and its educational system, according to the letters of Ilia Chavchavadze and Jacob Gogebashvili. Mrs. Lela Makhviladze gave a speech on Georgian-German Relationship, German Colonists in Georgia and about the work of Arthur Leist.
