Determining the rules for financing tuition fees for socially vulnerable students

The deputy minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia Mrs. Nunu Mickiewicz held a meeting with representatives of higher education institutions and discussed administering financial support for socially vulnerable students, a new initiative of prime-minister. Mrs. Mickiewicz asked representatives to inform students, who earned less than 150 000 credits, about the program so they will have a great opportunity to continue studies in 2020-2021 academic year. Students who benefit from this program are from the faculty of Georgian Language, Bachelors, Integrated Teachers training bachelor-master’s, Integrated Veterinary masters, educational and masters educational programs for trained nurses/dentists and are registered as socially vulnerable and have 150 000 or less credit scores.
The program infers:
Full financial coverage of 2020-2021 academic year, fall term;
Full financial coverage of 2019-2021 academic year, spring term;
Students can address their universities for more details.
Tuition fee for one semester is 1125 GEL, in accordance with state grant.
