On November 11,2015 delegation from Warsaw university, ambassador of Poland Anjei Chieshkovski ,representatives of Tbilisi Teaching University and local government officials, metropolitan of Gori and Ateni , HE Andria visited GSTU . Guests were greeted by prof. Giorgi Sosiashvili-rector of the university and Giorgi Khorbaladze- chancellor of the university. Rector congratulated guests on Independence day of Poland and invited them to open Warsaw university center in GTSU. Photos and archived materials were exhibited in the center. Collaboration of convention was signed during the ceremony. Davit Kolbaia was elected as an honorable doctor of GSTU. Guests did some sightseeing in Tsmindatskali housing estate, surroundings of Tkviavi street where polish square will be laid-out, dedicated to Iozef Pilsudski, first chief of Polish Republic. Lectures were given to students by Davit Kolbaia and Ian Malitski at the end of the day.
