On February 22, 2014 International Scientific Conference, dedicated to David Aghmashenebeli (David the builder) was held at Gori State Teaching University. The conference was opened by the rector of Gori State Teaching University Prof. Giorgi Sosiashvili. The reports were presented by the head of the Educational Research Center for History and Archaeology professor Eldar Mamistvalishvili, St. Andrew the First-Called Georgian University of Patriarchate of Georgia professor Roin Metreveli, Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University professor Jaba Samushia, Sokhumi State University professor Zurab Papaskiri and Gori State Teaching University professor Zurab Okropiridze.

The work was going in sections and 19 reports were presented.
