2014 is declared as a jubilee year for Georgian-Jewish relationship and 26 centuries old friendship. According to the occasion, the History Museum of Jewish of Georgia was restored and held an International Conference on “26th Centuries of Georgian and Jewish Relationships”. At the conference Gori State Teaching University was presented by the Rector of University Professor Giorgi Sosiashvili, the Head of History and Archaeology Centre Eldar Mamistvalishvili and the Dean of the Faculty of Exact and Natural Sciences, Associate Professor David Chochishvili. At the conference the historical and cultural aspects of Georgian-Jewish relations were discussed and outlined the prospects for future cooperation.
