On January 25,2017 Sergi Makalatia  History and Ethnography Museum organized   a book presentation  at GSTU. The book “ The life and work of Dimitri Meghvinetkhutsesishvili” was written by Ioseb Alimbarashvili, the dean of the faculty of Hummanities. Giorgi Sosiashvili, Giorgi Khorbaladze, teachers and students of GSTU and representatives of Gori Municipality and other invited guests attended the presentation. The meeting was opened by the head of the Museum, Mrs. Tina Sosanidze. Giorgi Sosiasvhili, Giorgi Khorbaladze, the author , Davit Oniashvili, Tamaz Latsabidze, Tamila Koshoridze, Tamar Gogoladze, Marine Tsertsvadze, Eldar Mamistvalishvili, Giorgi Mindiashvili and others gave speeches on the life and work of Dimitri Meghvinetkhutsesishvili-as a historian, archeologist, play writer, poet and a public figure. At the end of the meeting , the author talked about the process of writing the book and gave his gratitude to the family of Lia Kovziashvili for their help of restoring the tomb of Dimtri Meghvinetkhutsesishvili.
