an online conference, dedicated to the 124th anniversary of well-known Georgian scholar Niko Ketskhoveli

On December 18, 2021 Mrs. Tinatin Iosebidze, faculty of education, exact and natural sciences, initiated an online conference, dedicated to the 124th anniversary of well-known Georgian scholar Niko Ketskhoveli. 74 GSTU students, public school students and teachers participated in the conference with CENN project coordinator and head of the Ketskhoveli fund in Shida Kartli, Mrs. Mariko Tsikoridze. Mrs. Tsikoridze reviewed Niko Ketskhoveli’s life work, his indelible contributions concerning matters of the environment, project goals and significance.

Besides students from Shida Kartli region, Atskuri, Karagauli, Kaspi, Akhaltsikhe and Tserovani public school N 3 students and teachers also participated in the conference.

The conference was summed up by Mrs. Tinatin Iosebidze, Mrs. Mariko Tsikoridze and Gori public school teachers: Marika Vartumashvili (school N 12), Ketevan Karelidze ( school N 11), Nino Gugutishvili (school N 9), Ketevan Tlashadze (Kheltubani school), Nino Kakhniashvili ( Kelktseuli school), Natia Talakhadze (Kharagauli public school N 2), Nana Demurova (Tserovani public school N 3) and Nana Demetrashvili (Kaspi public school). They were eager to participate in GSTU conferences and other educational events in the future.
