On November 26, 2021 an informative meeting was convened by the French language and culture center. The meeting was led by Mr. Zurab Zurabashvili, head of the international relations office. He reviewed the center's plans and ongoing educational activities, significance of popularization of French language and culture within the region which enables the university and Gori population to strengthen ties with the Francophile world.  Mr. Gocha Javakhishvili, head of the center also gave a brief review on the significance of the center and establishing connections with France.  Representatives of the French Institute Mrs. Natia Mskhiladze and Mrs. Nastasia Domps gave a presentation on scholarship programs in France. At the end of the meeting, guests had a meeting with Mr. Giorgi Sosiashvili and discussed upcoming events and activities. With Mr. Gocha Javakhishvili’s  efforts, the center will have a wide variety of French books, available for GSTU students and academic personnel.
