An Expedition takes place at Shida Kartli Villages

In May, 2019 within the framework of university grant , the faculty of humanities organized a dialectical expedition in 15 Shida Kartli villages for GSTU students of Bachelors and Master's educational programs in Georgian Philology ( supervisor: Mariam Koberidze, coordinator: Ioseb Alimbarashvili). Participants recorded and wrote down folk legends, toponimys, collocations etc. and later processed all gathered material for presentation, which took place on July 12. Mr. Giorgi Sosiashvili, Mr. Aleksandre Mghebrishvili , Mr. Giorgi Khorbaladze, Mr. Levan Midodashvili and GSTU students and academic personal attended the presentation. Participants and organizers expressed their gratitude for financing the expedition and talked about their impressions . Everyone agreed that such expeditions are of great importance and necessary for university and students awareness of their heritage as well.
