On May 3, 2023 an event, dedicated to the end of Mr. Ghasan Khalil’s mission at GSU. Mr. Giorgi Sosiashvili opened the meeting and reviewed Children’s fund mission, goals and achievement. He pointed out Mr. Khalil’s  four-year work and dedication to the Couse. Mr. Zurab Zurabashvili gave a presentation on the partnership of GSU and the Children’s Fund. Mr. Giorgi Sosiashvili told the audience about the decision, made by the Academic Council of GSU,- Mr. Khalil was chosen as an honorary doctor of the university. Mrs. Neli Champuridze and Mrs. Arina Tvaakarashvili thanked the guest for his support all these years. At the end, Mr. Sosiashvili and Mr. Khalil gave certificates to participant students of one of the training-modules. The fund was founded in 2021 and fulfills training modules for Shida Kartli school children and teachers, led by GSU teachers and invited personnel.
